What is a whole person model in Sex Coaching

My holistic view is based on the MEBES® model and takes a step back from looking at the sexual concern of the Client to explore the areas of the individual as a whole person.
M stands for Mind, our thoughts, the stories we tell ourselves, the beliefs we grow up with or are bombarded with by our society, media, family, country.
Thoughts are only that, sometimes random images and narratives that our mind makes up to sometimes to challenge us, often protect us, at time derail us.
We are not our thoughts, most times we can stand back and observe our thoughts, other time we believe them to be true to a point where we convince ourselves we are unworthy of love.
E is for Emotions, we are all emotional beings, driven and governed by them and yet there is a belief that emotions are negative, denoting weakness, instability when they are at the core of what makes us human.
We might hide emotions, hold them in, let them take over our lives, we fear them and judge others by the emotions they show and contempt for the feelings they express.
No matter how we believe we are in control of our emotions in the end they will find ways to express themselves, through our body in fits of anger, fear, stress.
B calls for Body, how we feel about our body, what we see when we look in the mirror, the comparison with others, the phases our body goes through in its life.
Beauty is a fleeting and cultural concept, the ‘perfect’ body? …only a social construct, driven by media and some vague belief of what a human body should look like instead of what it is and yet we want to conform, we feel inadequate, not enough, unlovable.
E stands for Energy, the life force we have inside, the vitality that drives our every day, the passions that inhabit us.
Energy is not about hitting the gym every day though it can be that as well.
There is energy in quietly sitting with friends discussing a book, laughing during a comedy night, trying a new recipe.
Energy flows between people, in some cases nourishing us, in others depleting us.
S is for spirit. Spirit is different and unique to each one of us.
For some it is religion, something bigger than us, majestic, powerful.
For others spirit inhabits our being, binds us to nature, art, music, baking, walking amongst tall trees, marvelling at the sight of stars at night, anything that stops us in our tracks and marvel at what we experience as part of the human race and inhabitants of this planet.
Spirit is almost impossible to define and yet we all possess it, sometimes hidden, often misplaced, occasionally rejected, every so often struggling, but it is there.
So this is the MEBES® model but come to think of it.... why make it only about Sex? All we do, feel and think is connected in the same way and every part has an impact on how we experience our life. Come to think of it...let's start using the model for the things that are important to us
